Its so cold out.. But I got this feeling today!

Ok so you know how opiates numb everything, well im day 6 and felling ok, but i was watching an old show today, I used to watch when i was off of pills, and at moments i got chills, the good chills, like when you see something and your glued to the scene, so i guess i can feel again, I had nothing, not any emotions on pills, now i can feel a great movie/show instead of just watching, be part of it.. Its so weird like life is in 3D, Maybe i have 80HD..lol get it.. just kidding but yea, its weird, but cool at the same time, i also start taking care of myself like i become obsessed about it when im clean.. its so crazy, Welcome to Realty..

life is so much better clean! I remember when my grandma died and I was on so many pain pills I could not even cry! That is so sad and we were so close!!! Congrads on feeling again!!!!

Good post. You'll be surprised what comes roaring back when you get clean! It was like, at first my using and drinking got in the way of my my work, interests, family and friends. Once I became a full fledged addict, my work, friends interests and family got in the way of my using. I was either planning one, on one or recovering from one. Congratulations on day 6!! Enjoy being clean and live your life to the fullest.
