officially day 8!!

What a difference a day can make. I'm mentally a lot clearer today less anxious. A little more ambitious too, not much. :-D
Physical body aches still sneezing! Rls is much improved. Slept decent lastnight.
I did take .5 mg of ativan before bed. It seemed to help me fall asleep. I don't have access to these all the time. My wife is guarding them. And believe it or not I don't like how I feel on them. But I still understand I need to be extra cautious.
Overall I feel pretty darn good today all things considered.
Took my son to his soccer game this morning. Only thing really bugging me is that bored feeling. Nothing seems exciting but it seems to be slowly changing.

Congratulations on day 8!!  Isn't  it a great feeling to finally become free from opiate? As Evolver mentioned, that bored feeling you mention needs to be addressed with an aftercare program. The physical part is wrapping up, now for the mental part. Our addiction lurks every day and will slay us at the slightest opening. Maintaining recovery is something that must be done every day to protect ourselves. Wishing you the best!
