I need a tapering plan?

I am a 41 year old mom of 3 and my youngest is 3.  I have been hooked on hydros 10/325 for 3 years.  I take 60mgs a day and I want to taper off so that I can still take care of my kids and not be in withdrawal pain!  I've been through withdraw before and it was horrible and everything I DON'T want to relive....EVER!  I am terrified of going through it again.  I have read several posts similar to mine but didn't really find any answers on a good tapering plan for the milligrams I take each day?  Can anyone please  tell me exactly how to taper off and how much to start with and for how long and how much to cut down each however many days??  Please?  I'm so ready.....God showed me that I could quit smoking and I have been quit since October 27, 2011 and I tapered down off of 2 packs a day and used the patches!  I am so proud of myself and now have the confidence to taper off of these stupid pills!  Please help?  Thank you!!

Hi wannabdun, as others said we can't give taper ideas but you can google it. You can do this!
Some can taper, some can't but you will figure out what's best for you. The WDs might not be as bad as you think. Our addiction freaks us out, hence we stay on the pills. But you can do this!!!!
Hang in there!!

I am also tapering off of hydros 10/325....I also have 2 small children and 2 teens to deal with so cold turkey wasn't an option for me.....it isn't allowed to post taper plans on here.....I will private message you and if you would like I can share my thoughts with you....

Congrats on your decision.  Good for you!  They won't give you a taper plan here.  They are not allowed.  My best advice is to just go as long as you can in between doses.  I can tell you from experience that every time you go through withdrawals it get worse. I went through a bad three week period a couple of years ago.  Then I started using too much and had to do withdrawals every month for about three months.  Finally had enough and said "bullfrog."  It's uncomfortable, but you can do it!
