In the grand scheme of things, 200mg a day isn't very large in the Tramadol world. Tramadol is a weird medicine to withdraw from. It carries most of the same opiate withdrawal symptoms plus more pronounced psychological withdrawal symptoms (Tramadol messes around with seratonin levels in a different way that most traditional opiates). Tray and pronlong the taper as long as you can...in other words..go down 50mg and wait until you normalize...then reduce another 50mg.
