One thing i have learned by spending a week or so here

Addiction has no feelings or guilt about who it takes in. I have been reading many posts and learned that it grabs doctors, lawyers, homeless and it really saddened me the other day to see the 16 year old. I have to say i just watched the movie " The Ultimate Gift"  a young man finds out what life is all about, giving to those in need. He goes from a spoiled brat and someone who likes to party to a loving and caring person.

This site gives "The Ultimate Gift" answers and prayers to many struggling individuals. I thank GOD that this hasn't been very hard on me. The power of prayer truly is unimaginable. If I am not around much, I truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly appreciate every prayer and suggestions you all made.

I dont kknow ur dose...but positive thinking like that can help with th metal part of this addiction which has kicked by behiney....think positive as to me 90% of the wd is in in my head

Glad to hear that thgings have not been too bad.  Aren't you starting your 3rd day?

D30, you might be one of the lucky ones, i.e. withdrawals not too bad. Be ready for anything though:  worse withdrawals, anxiety, depression, and cravings.  I don't wish to rain on your parade, but if you expect the worst, then you will be better able to cope if things do get worse.

Hang in there.  You can do this.

How true that is..I was really shocked and saddend when I realized how many people this affects. Med-Help has been a great place for support among ,but it is so sad how many victims addiction has really claimed..I hope you are feeling better..i know you are a couple days into this right now, ?? Anyway, keep on going .and this is a good post..
