I believe that my daughter is addicted to Oxycontin?  She is telling me that she is trying to kick this addiction, and going to the methadone clinic daily?  Could she be mixing oxy and methadone together ?  what signs should i look for?  Do hospital rehab programs work for this addiction ?  any info is appreciated..thanks

I was on methadone for a year and if you take oxys while on it, you won't really feel the oxys, so it would kinda be pointless, plus the should drug test her at the methadone clinic. I wouldn't recommened methadone for anybody. Make sure you know all the side effects. Weight gain, TERRIBLE damage to your teeth, if you want to talk more about this or have any questions, send me a private message.

how old is your daughter.  you probably cant controll what she takes,  and it is best to offer not demand things with her.  i have been through this with my daughter.  the oxys that is.  if she is going to a clinic, i think they drug test to make sure they dont take anything else.  it is great advice to get her to read here if you can.  or maybe print the post out for her.  feohmoon has lots of info in her journals....skippysizemore journaled each day of her detox if you can get her to read it.  i will be praying for you..pm me if you need to chat.

Yes you do not want to take methadone you thought it was bad with oxy it is 4 times as bad with methadone, believe me I have been on it for 3yr, not only the withdraws are bad when you come off for a couple days the depression is the worst need to know more write me( I will tell you everything you need to know about man made Heroin)

Just wanted to let you know some things to look 4. If that is what is going on. 1) First off look 4 if she sweets 4 no reason 2. sudden burst of energy 3. doing things that she normally wouldn't do 4) very high strung, 5. Dilated eyes 6.mood swings , these are just some signs. If you have any other questions write me b/c i'm an addict of methodose.
