Oxycodone Withdrawals

No question, I just want to share my experience. I started snorting Oxy M30's about 4 months ago. Being a raging "pot-head" and an occasional cocaine user, I heard about these oxy's that have just flooded southern Florida where I recently moved. I asked my new weed hook-up if he knew where I could score some powder, but all he could get were those Small, Round, Blue, M30's. He told me people crush them and snort them to make them work faster but recommended against it. Needless to say, I became addicted almost within my first week of discovering those evil little things, now I am on my 10th day of cold turkey. I was snorting 150-300 mg every day, EVERY SINGLE DAY. My stomach still has not recovered but I somehow managed to man up and deal with my W/D's at home, and I could not tell my GF or my parents whom I live with at the moment. Not being able to talk to anybody made it more difficult than it had to be. My only advice to anybody would be to read and respond to these posts. It's helping me right now. Of course you will all be in bed for 3-5 days without any hope of feeling better, but you will....eventually. I never thought I would feel better. Thoughts of suicide were constantly popping into my head. It is/was very scary to think that I would rather be dead than feel dope-sick. Please DO NOT KILL YOURSELF. PLEASE. There is a light at the end of this lonely, and extremely dark tunnel. Just make sure you don't turn around and go back through that tunnel when you finally make it out alive.

good luck to both of you!  i loved the big green oxy 80s....so i feel your pain.  i have been clean for over 5 months and it is the best feeling ever.  i only told my bf (whom stopped too) and i finally broke down and told my best friend (although she lives in cali and i live in nc)  try to find someone you can talk to about this or post here constantly!  i would have lost my mind if i had not told her.  she was quitting alcohol at the same time and we were very good for each other.  don't give up!

Hey there,  just wanted to let you know that those little M30's is what i have been doing every single day for the past eight months.  today is day 4 of cold turkey and i must say i am seriously craving and wanting them desperately.  reading others post and writing is really helping me.  Hang in there.  we both can do this.  you are in my prayers.  jeri
