Oxycodone withdrawl

I have a serious question, and no, i'm not joking, a friend of mine offered me 30 10mg Oxycodone tabs a week ago, I took them all over the past 7 days, and now I'm out, and apparently I'm in withdrawls and it sux to say the least. I'm looking for advice, honestly, i know you might say, 1 week, 30pills, your nuts, it's true, i've never felt this awful in my life, no sleep, hot/cold, shoulders hurt, stomach upset. It's been 24hrs and I want to know how long I can expect to feel this way, and what I can do to minimize the just plain awful feeling, this is horrible.

Does it matter how much? How long? as to the duration of the withdrawls?
Can i take any over the counter stuff to make this less horrible?

Thank you, and may god bless all of you in your struggles with recovery, I certainly learned a huge lesson here, I'm so mad for putting myself in this position, it's absolutely miserable....

LoL, 30 pills in 7 days is nothing!!!!!! I have went through 30 30mg percs in 3 days!!!! 10 30mgs a day!!!!!! I know ppl who have done a lot more than that!!!! You are not alone, you will encounter many ppl in the same situation.. If you are wdrawaling badly I am surprised, usually you have to be taking these for a long periods of time to get the bad wds.. Although everyone is different. You should be fine after 3 days since you haven't been on them that long! It is nothing new to binge on these things cause they give you an amzing euphoric feeling. It is not worth it in the end speaking from experience and wishing I never even touched one!!! Good luck and god bless... Go look up the Thomas Recipe.. Its a natural way to help with the WD's...

I wouldnt worry so much about the wd's.  I would focus more on why you are taking these?  Drugs are not to be taken for recreational purposes.  The quantity and mg's of these pills you took make me think you have done this before.  We are here to help so talk to us.......sara

Opiate withdrawals typically last anywhere from 7-12 days or so depending on the length of usage and the amount taken daily.  Usually the withdrawals get a little worse for the first two or three days and then get noticeable better each day after the third or fourth day.  Your should be much better by the fourth or fifth day.

If this is an isolated incident, after 3 or 4 days things should start turning around for you. Just make sure you drink plenty of fluids and eat. Even if its sandwichs. Some have said they have taken some NyQuil to help with sleep. I never did so I don't know if that really helps or not..Yes, you learned a valuable lesson here..

I know they wont last as long as someone who has been on them for months or years... it should be over soon..  I know it's miserable.. you'll be okay. you just don't feel like it now.. I'm sure as more members come online they can tell you things to help you out for these couple of days.  It takes a strong person to admit that they made a mistake. You should be proud of yourself for that. Believe me you don't want to get caught up in this anymore. It's good that you learned your lesson.
