Oxycotin Info Needed?

I had some oxycotin left over from a surgery from months ago and pulled a muscle so desided to self medicate. I have been taken 10 to 20 mg a day for a week. The muscle is mostly healed. Will I withdrawl now if I go off. Also I dont want to talk to my doctor because it will red flag me and make me look like a drug seeker. I know I work well did in the medical field. My question is will I be ok?

Due to the pain I did end up taken a 15mg and now am going to try and sleep. I should be completely off tomarrow. Thank you for all the info. Feel really bad for anyone that ends up addicted. Thank you for helping me to calm myself and not stress.

Stay away from the opiates.  They are highly addictive and you are getting advice from people who have been highly addicted to them.
You don't want to go thru withdrawals and everything else that goes with it.

O no. I had hydrocordone due to bilateral surgeries. I was scared after 4 months of taken 10 a day I would withdrawl. I also have not taken any meds today and feel fine besides the muscle pain from the one in my back I pulled. I am just trying to see if I could go without. Seems good so far. I would like to take one to get ride of the pain but that may cause me to have withdrawl.

You should have no problem at all...a week is a very short period of time.  It would be unheard of to see a person fully dependent to the point of w/ds in only a week.  Try not to overthink it...or you will convince yourself you don't feel good.

Don't use ultram...nothing, just stop taking it.

Seems like you have a history of self medicating...you speak of the past issue of hydrocodone that you used ultram to get off.  Are you thinking you may have a bit of a problem?  Maybe you shouldn't be keeping opiates lying around?  Just some food for thought!

I would NOT take the trams at all! Trams are a synthetic opiate plus they have an antidepressant in them and they are nasty little things. If youve only been taking oxys a week and at that dose there is no reason you cant just stop taking them all together.

Please, stay far away from Trams

Thank you. I just got scared. I was on hydro for about 4 months and was scared I would withdrawl but I took tramadol for like 4 days and was able to not hve any withdrawl at all. I wonder if that would be a safe move starting tomarrow.

I agree with Pat, With that low dose and with taking them only a week, you should be fine. Glad you muscle is heeled up :)

Don't take anymore and you should be fine.   Opiate dependency can occur very fast, especially if used in the past long term.  Get rid of any you have left and don't look back.

I doubt very much you will have withdrawals after a week and on that low of a dose.  You should be fine.
Just stop taking them now.
