PERCOCET WITHDRAWL

I have been on Vicodin for 6 yrs then the doctor put me on Percocet for the pass year, I was up to about 8 a day.
I also take Balacet, Fiornal, zanaflex, and klonpin, gosh putting it all on here hits home
I have a script for the Percocet but can't get it filled until Monday its for 180 for the month which is what my doctor give me , 6 per day, some days I would take 8 but usually I made it stretch but this month it just didn't.
I am going thru withdrawl , last night thought for sure I was just going to die. My chest is burning, my heart rate is high, blood pressure was high but I take blood pressure meds to control it.
Have not eaten, have had the chills and feeling of doomed.
I was awake for nearly 48 hours slept some today, I was afraid to fall asleep. Every time I closed my eyes I would see funny flashing colors.
I haven't told my husband who is an over the road truck driver I am going thru this, don't want to worry him , haven't told anybody.
I can see how these pills are messing me up but this pain /burning in my chest I just want it to go away.
And I keep thinking if I can take a pill it will go away.
I know I need to find a group or something not sure what we have out here in bible belt land.

The klonopin you have will help with the anxiety. All of the symptoms you mentioned are common withdrawal symptoms. There's a blood pressure medication called clonidine that helps immensely with the WD symptoms. A doctor has to prescribe this and you'd have to tell him why you want it. Withdrawal symptoms are hell, and unpleasant, but not life threatening. You mention feeling the pain again. Much of my pain was in my head, and I found this out when I came clean off the oxy. You may be surprised by how you feel without them. Have you ever tried to taper down? Do you think you could? Is it possible to have a doc prescribe you something tomorrow? Possible to go to an ER?

I'm kind of with Ga Guy on this one. I'm not sure if you want to stop taking all of your meds or just the percs, or holding out until it's time for your refill. You most certainly are in w/d from the percs and I know you are having a lot of anxiety and bad feelings all the way around. It will get better and we're here to help you if you decide to stop the percs or any meds.

You're on a lot of meds. I guess you know what you're doing to yourself. You seem like you're ready to maybe stop some of this stuff. Do you have chronic pain? What you're experiencing is WD's from the percs. Let us know exactly what you want, and we can provide suggestions. Some of your post sounds like you want to stop taking them. Other parts of it sound like you want a way to survive until you get your refill. Are you truly ready to quit?

I to truly want to stop but I am afraid of feeling everything again. I have back pain , have a tear in my back , scar tissue and some nerve damage, and migraine's.
I want to get control over this, I haven't had any percocet since Friday am and that was half of a 7.5mg around 11 am.
The worse part is the burning in my chest driving me crazy.
Glad to find this forum and see others who are going thru the same thing. Really amazing how many are having the same problems.
My husband has been thru the drug thing before but he doesnt' really know that I am going thru this right now. Just told him blood pressure is high, got blood pressure down but heart rate is still high.
What is the best thing to do? My back is not really hurting my head is from not eating but not my back. I want my life back. Just so dang scared.
Feel like just crying I realize that the addiction is part of a bigger problem and have some clues what it is but being a control freak its hard dealing with things.
