Soma is a muscle relaxer like IBK said.  Its actual name is Carisprodol, I think I got that right.  My old dealers used to "love" this stuff.  Personally, I thought it made me feel gross.  I guess that when mixed with an opioid it has an enhancing effect.  It is not even scheduled, but it will give a person a "loopy" feeling.
