hello and welcome. you sound prepared. dont be scared, dont let the fear in, just take it as it comes. you will have acute physical symptoms for about 5 - 7 days. use immodium for the tummy issues. water, juice, gatorade, ensure will hydrate and help flush out the toxins, in your system.
what have you been using? when are you quitting?
No question that leads to sobriety is nothing to be sorry for. The more prepared you are the more likely you are to succeed. Adding to the questions above, are you tapering down or just stopping? I found a sleep aid like melatonin to help with the lack of sleep that's coming. Good luck and keep us posted.
Last hydro at 5 pm, I am tired of running out of 90 in mid of 4th day and wasting all my money, and no life on top of that. I have to buy to keep from running out bc on scared I will be so sick, so flushing toxins out you do mean drugs right? I also read epsoum salt gets out toxins an helps leg pain, my friend had told me she w/ d and she didnt have trots but 1 time but she used Imodium that once, but I don't know by the stories I read, so much help and support on here and I need that
I should add I have been a user a lot of years 5-7 and tokerace for last year20-0
20-30 daily sorry on my phone.
ok. you will get through this. epsom salts in the bath help force magnesium into your muscles, it helps with the restless leg syndrome and yes the pain.
use the immodium as directed on the package. yes the toxins are the drugs. are all your pills gone now?
last pill 5pm? eastern or pacific time? so its either 5 or 8 hrs ago.
how are you feeling now?
Yes the pills are gone and I'm eastern time and feels like I been hit by a Mack truck. I am up before daylight and already hit the bath for a soak. Having some bad stomach cramps/pain
Keep taking the Immodium. Yes, the fluids flush the remnants of the drug out and keeps you hydrated...
This is the tough part of the physical. If you can hang in for a day and a half, you'll begin to feel much better! Go easy on yourself and sleep when you can, okay? It helps to stay in touch here...
Yea I know there will be no sleeping, for some reason I am very alert.
ok one hour at a time. just take it as it comes. dont fear. try to relax, take deep breathes, go for a walk, listen to music, keep yourself busy. mind off the detox.
