Putrid smell need help

Day 3 done, insomnia part is a b*****. Problem is this floral/putrid smell, now taste too. started day 1 a little, now even milk has the taste of this smell. Whole room "smell" got a Vicks Inhaler - menthole - nope that smell. I have tried every search I can think only 1 that was close - need to take zinc, got that alot of hope it works. Anyone hear/had this in WD?

Nuh uh - I've never heard of a side effect like this.  But if it's sweet at all, I know that's a symptom diabetics get on occasion.  I think it's in their breath.  I'll be interested to see if anyone else has experienced this!

But way to go re: Day 3.  :)

Hi~~  This is not too unusual. A lot of folks have talked about this.  Generally, it's all part of the detox process and the toxins leaving your body.  Keep up with good mouth care and a mouthwash.Also,rinsing with warm,salt water. But,first,look in your mouth. Is your tongue "coated"? Is it white or black?  If so,you need to call your Dr.  Could be an infection...

I had a horrid taste and smell while detoxing.  My family cooked a frozen pizza and now I associate that with it too, will never cook one again.  This part made no sense to me but neither did the sneezing and the yawning.  It will go away.

Thanks, Thats what I needed to hear. I know I can beat the physical part of this, when I couldn't find anything on this I was worried I really had a problem that was permanent. Love music, the Skynerd song That Smell keeps playing in my mind evreytime I smell/taste this.

Oh, I know exactly what you're talking about! When I was trying to stop doing heroin cold turkey...around the 2nd day I would smell this floral smell. Ugghh. It was horrible. I was already throwing up and that made things 10x worse! The first time I noticed it, my mom brought home jack in the box, so I associate the two. Blech!

It goes away after a couple days, so good luck!
