they all use the same method.there have been many deaths linked to this.
The dangers of rapid-detox drug treatment
So-called "rapid detox" treatment uses a cocktail of medications to speed through the withdrawl process while the patient remains under sedation. As part of the procedure, the patient is implanted with a pellet of the opate antagonist Naltrexone to prevent them from having intense cravings or obtaining any "high" from opiates once the treatment is complete.
This is just my opinion, but from documentaries I've seen (dealing with actual addicts - not actors) I don't believe it's the "cure all" that it claims to be...Just my opinion..

Go to page 2 in this forum and read the thread titled RDD - Vicki who is an RN posted on this one and she has seen the patients after the fact.
But there is another center in Michigan actually called Rapid Detox Center. Any body know any thing about them?
You guys please read posts and experiences from the people who actually had this procedure and not from the people who are running the rapid detox clinics and not "testomonials" from these clinics. Please do that before deciding
I have decided to do a similar detox, if I haven't completely tapered within the next couple weeks. It is Florida Detox and Wellness. If you are interested, call this place, and give them your email. They will send you emails with the info you need to attend webinars taught by the doctor there. I really think this is a good match for what I need which is to come off the last 1/4th of Opana. This doctor will do a rapid detox, and then nutritional and iv therapies to help the brain and body function much better, and hopefully deal with cravings and underlying conditions. I hope this is helpful.
