I'm gonna trust you guys

I'm going to do this.  I've built up the courage and I'm going to trust you guys that say there is a better life on the other side of pain meds.  I know life is better...just cant explain why I've yet to quit.  I know what to expect with the withdrawals...it's the mental side that gives me the most difficulty.   I actually only took 2 pills today instead of my regular 4.  I know my triggers now...stress at work and home.  The boss is always wanting more, family always wanting more and I felt these dam drugs gave me the confidence I needed to acomplish these things.

I'm really worried that I'll turn into such a ******* that I'll run people off.  Guess it's a chance I'll have to take.  This will make #3 for me.  I never thought I was this weak.  Wish me luck......again.

hey listen dont be afraid to confide in people around you what your going through. you'l be surprised how they will rally behind you. they'll even cut you some slack on your off days, you'll have a few of those. most good people dont wanna see others fail, unless theyre bad people, and those we dont pay attention to. so, shout it out and be proud to getting to a drug free life. Everything comes in threes... I am a frim believer in that since my  brother was killed the same night as my best friends first shirts son, and her uncle in the same night... We all have are ups and downs but that is what makes us who we are... My email is always open if you would like to meet a new friend... I am working on how to deal with the issues that my boyfriend is going through with becoming clean and I have to say I am so proud of him for being clean for 8 days now... He has gone through a difficult time over the last 8 days but as he says its a constant reminder of what he doesnt want to go through after being through what he is going through now since de decided to quit... Best of Luck!!! Remember when the going get tough the tough gets going...

the 3rd time is a charm! this is something you really want to do so therefore you will do it this time. yes the mental part is hard but just keep yourself busy even when its the last thing you want to do. as far as your triggers..those are difficult ones to avoid but you will learn to deal with them in a different matter. i count to 10 alot! LOL!! it is doable though and yes people might not understand why you are so bi***y for a while but they will love the new and clean you down the road! good luck to you and keep posting it really does help!

You can do this. You have learned along the way what to avoid. Be sure to start taking vitamins and supplements and amino acids as soon as you are able to. do this 2x/day to be sure your body gets what it needs to rebuild itself. We are all rooting for you!
