Just detoxed off Meth, got percs from doctor, 7.5/325, Now I have taken too many scared of w/d

Hello every one first time here, I recently detoxed off  Meth, then stupidly enough, I asked my Doctor for perc, 7.5/325.  Out of 30 pills and 6 days I have 5 left.  Do the math.  Now I want to know can I take the 5 and taper off with out a lot of trouble.  I originally was taking the Meth to get off the pills. Talk about Your vicious circle.  Could someone please respond?

I am so sorry you are having to go through this right now now. I can say that there are many others on this site that know what you are going through as I do too. I am about  95 days off of Methadone at my third attempt and as I'm sure others will atest, it is one of the HARDEST drugs to come off of. It took me three attempts to stop taking it. However, it can be done as I am evidence to.
I may be able to help you more if you can give me more info.
How big a dose were you on and for how long did you take it?

Welcome! Why don't you ask your Doc for some meds to help you with w/d. Clonodine, something to help you sleep at night, muscle relaxers. BE CAREFUL w/all these take only as directed. You can do this. Alot of us have gone thru this, we are here for you!

hey and welcome to the forum...those 5 pills will just prolong the inevitable...5 pills is not enough to really taper..they my hold off the w/ds til the are gone, but you are going to have to go through it sooner or later....stick around here for support!!!  let us know your plans and we will help ya out....good luck!
