This is my 28th day after detox from Norco. I was using 4 a day @ 10/325 dose. The first week was tough, but things got better. Worried878 said to move...it's really hard, I know, but being occupied is really helpful, esp. if it's physical.
Don't be hard on yourself about not feeling like talking, or not being able to. Your body is going through a lot of chemical changes. Depression and/or anxiety seem to be the biggest and longest lasting symptoms of withdrawl. I still feel really out of sorts, but gradually I am feeling better.
Someone else said that recovery is not linear. You won't necessarily feel a little better each day. I had some incredible days from day 10-14 and then started to feel really down again. Since then it's been up and down. Everyone is different, but the physical symptoms seem to subside by the 8th day if not sooner, and then you are left with the mental issues. You need super nutrition to help your body recover. The box on the bottom right has links to the health pages where you can find info on what to expect and the Thomas Recipe. Just making sure you are getting good protein is really important. I have a couple of whey protein shakes each day since I have no appetite for meat.
I read somewhere that it is hard to see progress until you look back after being clean for a few months. Then you will be able to see the bigger picture. I keep that in mind when I feel "stuck". It makes endurance more bearable.
