Spider6 is a very strong person. I am getting to know her but what I can tell so far is she is supportive, kind, loving, a very talented artist, funny, stronger than she knows, beautiful, wonderful, and even though she is having a hard time, she hasnt given up so SHE IS A FIGHTER!!! Shes also SOBER!!! "Laughter is day, and sobriety is night; a smile is the twilight that hovers gently between both, more bewitching than either."

To each and everyone of you, even the ones I haven't posted on, I've read your stories....you ALL have saved my life....you have no idea what a recluse I am...I don't drive...never have so it's not like I lost my license or anything......I am a loner...BIG TIME....we bought a farm just over two yrs. ago so I'm waaaaay out in the middle of snail's pace cow land.

It's not that I don't like people......it's just that until the last few weeks I didn't know how much I DID like people and interacting and helping people.  I think that's the secret here.  It helps me to help others; as I'm sure you would all agree.

The last few years of my addiction, I don't think I ever looked a stranger in the eyes.  I had a conversation with a woman in the grocery store a couple of years ago and I didn't look up at her once.  It was a pleasant enough interaction and after she moved on it occured to me that I couldn't point her
out if my life depended on it.  Point is....since I've been "clean"....I really kind of look forward to seeing new people and interacting positively.

So this MH site and all of you are the only reason I made it this far.
I am humbled by your giving hearts.
