Well I have made it to day 10 off the norcos. Can any tell me what I can do with the depression & the anxiety. It seems like that is the worst. I have xanax .025 I take a half of one. It puts me to sleep and I wake up with my heart pounding and shaking. Really dont want to have to take them cuz of the wds as well!!! Iam taking all my vit and drinking alot of fluids.. what can I do!!! Anything???

Hi there you said xanx o.25 that's a very low dose I take 1 mg so 4 of yours is like taking one of mine!!!! I think if u can get your doctor to pumb u up to1 mg you can cutt them in half to start with and work your way up to a whole one....that's just my opinion.... Take care .....nile

Hi, 10 days is great. What you're experiencing is normal. The symptoms don't go away that fast. I know having patience sux but that's what is called for. You know how they say; you didn't become an addict in one day so you won't feel good in one day either.

I agree w/ the above poster, we need aftercare. We isolate so much we take these pills that when we stop, we realize how sad and lonely we can feel (at least for me.) The only thing that's saving me from taking those lovely norcos is going to a meeting every day. A year ago I quit and tried to change my life on my own  Slowly went back to using because I couldn't stand the blah and sadness. I resisted working a program but I do need it. I'm giving it a chance, ya know?

Hi welcome to the forum....congrats on 10 days that is ausum as for the symptoms your having you might want to hit a health and herbal/vitamin shop pick up some ''lemon balm'' it is great for the nerves also try some of the herbal teas for relaxation these will help but the addiction does not stop just because you quit the pills...the addict is still inside you and it needs to be treated for long term recovery I have tried just about everything but the only think that works for me is the rooms of N/A this will treat the addict and will change the very way you think keep posting for support and google N/A meeting in your area ..............Gnarly............................
