Terrible backpain today??

Okay guys day 7... And I feel really good, and happy and etc. Called dr this am and told them no more pain meds. Here is the thing, I have been exercising my butt off since day 1. Last night I RAN a half mile on the treadmill, boy it felt great!! But the thing is, I do have 2 herniated discs.. What's your thought?? Did I overdue the exercise or could it be wd pain that I just don't see?? Also I have absolutely NO desire to take pain meds at all!!!!! I am taking ibuprofen, sitting here with a 10s unit on now. I could barely do my morning walk today... Thoughts??

I remember that too!!   Only look at your now!!  Seriously you made it through and you'll make it through this time too.  You have to believe in yourself every day and believe in your strength.

And hey I know ALL about tax season (my dad was a cpa) and the one thing I do remember is that the season ENDS.  And life goes back to normal (hmmm that sounds a little like withdrawal doesn't it?) lol

Now hold off on that running until your back is better!!  We won't take no for an answer!!  :)

I just got home from and saw all of your posts! I'm so happy you took the healthy alternative with your pain! I'm soooo proud of u!!! I worry about getting a migraine thru all of this, they are hereditary in my family and i know my first thought will be to get a pain killer. If you can get thru your excruciating pain then i kno i can get thru a hellish migraine!! Good job!!

I promise not too push too hard tomorrow. However... Your gonna like this... If you remember LOL... Husband has yet another TAX Deadline he is working on and deadline is Thursday. Needless to say 90 hours a week plus he is putting in, so I am on my own with the 4 year old all day...... A very wild 4 year old. Don't know if you remember that or not @ tram but last time I tried to quit I couldn't bear the April 15 th deadline:).... I can humor myself w that now because I KNOW NOW there really is always an excuse. But he has been working like this since the beginning of my detox so I am over the fact I don't get help:)... Wouldn't be so bad if he didn't work from home:).... It's all good though... I made it

@littlebit...... You have been by my side all day... Don't know what I would have done without you today.... Bless you..... Now keep that I phone handy I may need you again soon:)

You've done well!  Just PROMISE me....everyone......that you will not push yourself even tomorrow.  I'm going to give you the lecture that I never have listened to, but here goes.....back strains and the such have to be rested when they are irritated.  Same goes for conditions like what we have.  In my case, I have a 3 (next month) year old, and I can't STAND for people to tell me I can't pick her up.  BUT...I know better.  I do it anyway.  And I take car trips that I shouldn't take.  That hurts me about as bad as anything.  I never listen.  So, please listen to me now.  I'll be a hypocrite for a minute.  You must rest it.  Heat and then ice.  800mg of ibuprofen and a hot bath.  Heating pad.  Blah, blah!!  You have heard it all before, but I mean it.  DO IT!!!!!!! : )
