I just joined this page...I am 35 years old been in the shoes of just about everyone who has posted here.  
I wish I could give all the people a glimpse of what its will be like clean in just a short period of time.  How you will enjoy life again not wondering or worried about where the next fix comes from.  I KNOW what its like looking at the clock counting the hours till you can take your next pill (s) counting how many you have left how long they will last!
LET me say how flipping wonderful it is not to worry about that anymore.  Just give yourself a little time be strong ask questions... It DIDN'T take you 3 days to get to where you are!  Do it for YOU.  I always said in rehab sorry sorry only if life had a rewind button, reality it doesnt!!.... NOW I say I cant change the past I can only prove that my future will be better....Like I said 3 maybe 5 days of the flu like ****.....One last word once your are thru the withdrawls working out exercise walking anything to get your body making its own endorphins WOW its amazing how our brain forget's how to do that when we are using.... BEST of luck chin up it DOES get BETTER everday.....  1 YEAR FOR ME : )

Yes, so true.  Plus, continuing to use, sooner or later, only leads to one place....death.  Plain and simple.

It strange me giving adivce.  My motivation is allot of things but I try to add humor in I always say Im just to subborn to give in again.....I love this page I can help....I think back now one year ago I would of been looking at the clock thinking am I high yet or passed out by now 4pm was my happy hour now I look at the clock and say omg its 10pm where did the day go lol..........So many things we forget when we are high or the fear of the nextday as to what I did.......Thanks an congrads on your success .........
