HI Everyone some of you have got to know Angie she has been a member since mach of this yr
I have watched Angie struggle with methadone addiction thats when I first met her...she switched to sub and did a quick detox from sub and successfully got off ..I have watched Angie struggle for her sobriety more then once
this last 60 days has been no exception but she has beet the cravings got past the triggers and pushed past the people that offered it up to her....She is a strong girl with a certain resolve to beat this thing and she has worked hard the last 60 days to remain narcotic free ...like many of you I call Angie my friend....and im alway willing to walk it out with a friend....Angie I new from the beginning you could do this im so happy for you...go out and celebrate this is the longest you have been clean in 5 yrs my hat goes off to you...keep your faith is God strong and may God bless you abundantly...thank you for being part of my recovery your friend Mark

I have never used it but I understand it is extremly difficult to get away from.
I am wishing you a lifetime free from any addivtive substance!!!!!!!!!

I was a big Steelers fan back when Bradshaw and Swanny were a team, still am but just haven't followed them as much.

Popped in here for a second, just in time time see this post and to get a huge genuine smile at seeing my friend Angie make it to 60 days.  You just know how incredibly proud I am of you Angie.

I may just require a plastic surgeon to get the darn smile off of my face.  There are many out there, I can assure you that will embark on this journey merely because you have shown them it can be done.  

You are indeed a role model Angie and I am your biggest one man Canadian cheering section.  Keep adding days to to all that clean time ANGIE.  WE ARE ALL CRAZY PROUD OF YOU!!!!!


Thank-you for showing us the way and CONGRATS on the huge MILESTONE!!!!!  These words just fall short and are pale for how truly happy I am for you.

i remember stumbling onto this site when i was addicted to methadone and all i wanted more then anything in life was to get my life back. im gonna have to go back and read my first post,like bmdad said, thats gonna be interesting to read.

I just want to say congratulations. Ang, I remember you coming here whipped. I watched you fight, kick and scream and then I saw you accept it. I know how hard all of that was but from where I am sitting it was pretty cool.

thanks so much mark...u have played a huge role in getting me here to 60 days. i owe ya big time...wow. what a way to get ur day started. thank u every1 for ur support. im so fortunate to have this site and to have made all my freinds i have made on here. i can always depend on having at least 1 person on here to talk to when im having a bad day..i really appreciate all of u.
what doesnt kill us will make us stronger..live & learn..

Sarah..my happy dance has consisted of ( u can laugh, its ok ) the sprinkler, the running man,  lawn mower, fist pumping like champs, and , i only break this one out for speacial occassions, humpty dance. btw if u havent trademarked GUARD UP, id like to get that tattooed across my forehead....

My deAR Angie, CONGRATS on this 2 years....ooops, i know it is 60 days but it is incredible how many things you have lived on those 2 months and how much you have learnt about yourself and addiction, always with an open mind.... You have had joy days, fun days, worried days, struggle days, fighting days, problems days, tattoo days... while working and dealing with your life's problems... cause you are dealing with your problems and not running away... I suppose that is for each one of us when we get clean, it is a rollercoastal ride but yours have been a big one, right ? :) i have seen a HUGE change on you so i can say that you are a very wise young woman who learns with each day... your tattoo really fits you :) LIVE AND LEARN...keep walking on this path
