Tramadol withdrawl

Does anyone know how long it takes to withdrawal from tramadol? I am in the process of tapering and want to know when the worst sets in how long I should take off work.? Also I am on seroquel, lexapro, and lamictal for bipolar so I'm hoping because I am those that the mental withdrawal might not be so bad. Is that just wishful thinking or possible? Please share your thoughts and experiences. Thanks!

I went cold turkey after 10 months of taking 6 of the 50mg Tramadols every 4-5 hours. The worst part is the lack of sleep and irritability. I was feeling much better by day 5, and it does get much better after that fairly quickly. Best of luck to you.

the worst should be over by day 4 and you should start to feel better but if you can i would take a week off for yourself to adjust.it's usually day 2 and 3 or 3 & 4 that are the worst. either way by day 5 you should feel a major change and it gets progressively better each day. the most you may have a hard time for a while getting back is sleep, that takes time but if you're on other meds they may help, not sure.
