Addiction and flushing: How many here have ever flushed their pills..even one?

I flushed a bu11load of them and it scared me at first..watching them go bye bye down the swirl of the flush.....i wanted to reach in there and take them back..sick aint it?  LOL   but u know after doing it i felt a sense of relief..they were just tempting me..i was tapering and had too many for my short taper..i even got some and cheated during my 10 day taper after i had flushed em..but i stuck to my QUIT day..and had no pills here to sing to me in the middle of the night

I had a strange incident occur a few weeks ago.  While cleaning my nightstand drawer, you know, the one that gets stuffed with everything you don't want to deal with :-), I found one 10mg percocet tucked away on the bottom.  I took the pill out and left on top of the nightstand while I continued to sort through the mess that had accumulated in there.  After a couple of hours the pill was still there and I must admit a few thoughts about taking the med crossed my mind but in the end, I just flushed the pill.  

No elation, no regret...it is what it is - narcotics aren't part of my regime anymore.

I had probably like a few thousand dollars worth of 25mcg, 75mcg,and 100mcg of fentanyl patches cut up and disposed medically. It was 2 months after detoxing of 150mcg fentanyl patch after that hell, I wanted them gone, so I brought them to my PM doctor and he had cut them up and safely disposed. I then had to sign that I gave them to him to dipose of. You can't throw duragesic or fentanyl patches away in the trash. They say on the box that they have to be flushed immediatly after use or diposed by the pharmacy or doctor. I am so glad those evil things are gone! I never want to see them again!

i have flushed after both my tmj surgeries...on day 5 they went swoosh...i was still in a ton of pain it it felt great....although worried i didnt want to try and catch a few just in case lol

I flushed a script of muscle relaxers.  I didnt want ANYTHING here.  I do remember being very angry when i did that.  I said a few cuss words and flushed.
