Sorry for disappearing!!

As some of you may have suspected, I haven't been posting because I've been using. I've still been lurking on here, but didn't feel right posting anything until I was committed to stopping - which I definitely feel I am, now.
My DOC is heroin. I used the last of what I had at around 3 PM today. Right afterward, I got rid of all of the equipment, called someone I know from the rooms and let her know what was going on, asked her to be my sponsor, and went to a meeting with her. Tomorrow will be day 1 for me.

I haven't used H in 1 1/2 years and I still think about it at times. The key is knowing what will happen if I start again. That is enough for me to stay NO and find something to do to keep me occupied.

So glad you are back! I know that you want to do this but you can't.  You've pretty much proved that right? You are powerless and you need turn this addiction over to power greater than yourself. Your time is coming Joy! You deserve to live and and I have no doubt that you will do just that, very soon.
