Today I am feeling a lot better. Last night I took an Ativan (I have a few for when I have to fly), and slept well. My stomach is still not right, but I can feel my feet today. My body still aches but nothing like yesterday. I'm hoping the worst of it is behind me, and I think I'll hit the treadmill at the gym today. I hope everyone has a great day..........
I'm assuming you can buy this at the drugstore? I will probably try to get it tomorrow if I feel well enough to go out. I did soak in a hot tub once today and it really helped. I'm relieved to know I am not having a stroke........LOL! Thanks for your input.
Hey welcome and congrats on deciding to take control! Anyways my first 5-6 days were the worst(coming off a 10-12 Norcos/day habit). The RLS felt like my legs were trying to just keep going when it was time to stop! I would get up at night and just kick my legs furiously!!! Then I discovered Hylands Restful Legs and God did it help. Now I obviously took a lot of them but they worked like a charm. Im talking like a 75% difference! Also try just laying in a hot steamy bath for as long as you want......helps to calm down your whole body and relax.......Good luck!! We are all here for you ok??

Day 3. I don't feel too bad. Kind of like a mild flu. I have been having tingling in my hands and feet since yesterday. My calves and hamstrings are crampy, and I can't get my feet warm. Two pair of socks, two blankets, fleece pants, shirt, and hooded sweatshirt. As long as I know what it is (the numbness/tingling) I'm OK. Thank you............
I agree with magi, a mild case ...I promise you would know if it was a BAD case of RLS...What day are you on??
wishing you luck!!

Thank you. I think I'll be OK. I'm hoping pnly 1 more day of not feeling so great.
Sounds like a mild case of RLS. Sever RLS is like having electric shocks in your legs and some people get them in their arms or body. With these electrical shocks, your legs feel like they're gonna start climbing the walls...without the rest of you. These shocks will cause cramping in the calves. They usually come when your most tired.
Hope you don't get them to bad! They're one of the worst things about withdrawals.
Try tonic water (which has quinine), Hylands restful legs, or Hylands Leg Cramps with quinine.
Are you feeling better on day 5?
Sounds like it.....I am on day 5....I had a lot of tightning in my leggs and cramping....they gave me Balclofen (my Dr,) for this and it helped!
