you're welcome.yes,it is important for you to get to your prescribing doctor and talk about these meds. they all have a side effect of blurred vision and vision changes.
they are all to treat schizophrenia ,parkinsons and bi-polar disease. it is very possible that you need to be re-evaluated. if you dont get the answers you want and need from your doctor. seek a second opinion.
please copy and paste these links about the side effects of your meds.

LOL - well then you're welcome! :)
i think you actually were the one who told me that. lol So...thanks, again:)
Well said akita - we absolutely must be advocates for ourselves.
maybe find a new doctor? I have a doctor (who i am not going back to now) who just would keep writing scripts. My last visit I asked for a new sleep medication but she didn't want to give me a sleeping pill. Instead prescribed me a medication used for schizophrenia. She told me don't read too much about it because it might worry me. She was giving it to me because she felt it would help me sleep! Well, of course I looked it up when I got home and saw what it was. I have never had any signs of schizophrenia. What's worse is that it has major interactions with the antidepressant I am on! Someone once told me that we need to be an advocate for our own health, and that really woke me up. I used to just take whatever doctors gave me without understanding what I was putting in my body because I assumed that they knew everything and wouldn't prescribe something unsafe or unnecessary. Good luck, & please go get checked out soon.
Oh my goodness you have GOT to schedule an appt. with your Dr. and go in and get the answers you need. You should never be taking a medication that you don't know what you're taking or why you're taking it. EVER! Get some answers from your Dr.(s) NOW.
thank you for your responses. i started with sleep meds like diazepam.i can't remember the anti psychotic durg names now. 9 years ago when i showed the prescription another pdoc, he said i am on anti psychotics. at that time i couldn't understand as he said so casually and didn't explain. earlier it was olanzipine, the latest one is quetiapine whcih i have stopped. now i am on trihexyphenidyl trifluoperazine H, lorazapam 1 mg, aripiprazole 5 mg. i still don't understand except lorazepam which is a benzo. sometime the left side of my head and centre of my head pains along with my eyes. my vision has deteriorated over time. when i raised this question he says it has nothing to do with eyes. please help.
Are you able to provide a little more information?
Im a little confused how you did not know you were taking some of these medications.
Anti psychotics have a side effect of very vivid dreams..I know that as I am on one. Which meds are you on?
which sleeping pills do you take? many cant be stopped abruptly. it is dangerous. talk to your doctor about your desire to get off them.
have you been to counseling to help sort out the root of your fear and anxietys? the type of meds you are on could also be causing your nightmares, it can be a side effect of the anti-psychotic meds.
Which antipsychotic drug(s) are you on & how was it given to you without your knowledge?
