i need help.i start to inject subotex at thursday I USED 16 mg from thursday until now in separet dosis-.all together 16mg from thursday until now-.. O.K. I WANT TO STOP IT NOW.i make mistake, please help.I HAVE 8mg left.how i stop it,the best way,AM I ADICT NOW...I DESITE TO STOP IT shoud i use this 8mg thats left OR WHAT PLEASE
Sup or bup is sometimes given IM in inpatient detox. It makes a lot more sense to give it like this than an open ended sub Tx that can go on forever while the doc rakes it in. This dude is abusing sub and maybe should go on a drug abusers get high forum. Yes you can abuse sub.

using/shooting subutex for 4 days/altho not normal nor healthy/would not cause an addiction...what were u doing before that? if u have some left...cut it into crumbs and only use it/under ur tongue/not in ur veins/if u have to to ease wds....it does sound as like u have a prior addiction as shooting subutex is not a thing beginners would do...knowledge about it would be a factor in the first place to know that u could shoot subutex verses suboxone/ and is a big time clue that u r not new at this.....4 days of sub would not cause addiction...what were u doing before?
Vangos.....are you saying that you have ONLY been using for FOUR days total? How about before that? ANY other drugs? At all? Oral or otherwise?
You can be totally honest here....no judgements.
If you have only injected the Sub for four days and did not use it before that in any way...MY advice to you would be to split them up (like another poster told you)...and take them under your tongue...like two a day tomorrow (am and pm), then one and one the next two days. Honestly, you MAY have some w/d's, but they won't be as bad had you continued using. The important thing right now is to stop injecting it.....and stop taking them, or else you WILL end up majorly addicted.
Also, even if you have never used anything before, I still feel that you need to seek some psychological help. There is usually ALWAYS "something" we are numbing when choosing to use. You only get one shot at this living thing.....so try to maximize it by seeking the help you need.
If you were very physically ill you would seek help, right? These kinds of issues are no different...you deserve to start the healing process.

If you've only taken it since Thursday, and you're not using to to come off of something else, you won't experience withdrawal.
plz seek some counseling or go to the doctor so they can set up a recovery program for you. do you want to stop using drugs?

I don't understand what you're saying here? What is your goal? Just to find some magical way to stop injecting the Sub safely? Or to actually get some real help with your addiction?
Pretty much I can guarantee that most people that find themselves in the throws of addiction have a job, a family, and other responsibilities. Surely it is not easy to find time to address the problem and seek help.......but if you want to KEEP that job, and family, etc...it is imperative.
Also, I'm sure that you found time to seek out the Sub to purchase and then inject, right?

suboxone can not be shot up but subtex can be it does have the naloxone in it .
I think people need to remember addicts abuse drugs so there will be some that abuse sub that's where recovery treatment has to come in shooting up is an addictive behavior he needs recovery care to help work threw addictive behavior.It not going to change overnight .

If you were obtaining the Sub for yourself thru a program, I would have a pow wow with them right away and see what your options are. You may get booted from the program...but they have dealt with this before and will advise you on how to best proceed.
If you are obtaining them off the street.....try to cut off contact with your source and seek some advise, either from a trusted family doctor, or look thru your phone book for an addiction hotline...that is always a great place to start...they will have a bunch of resources to share with you.

Don't shoot anymore of it up . You might want to split the last 8mgs and split it up. It will be a quick step down but you have only been on it for 4 days .Here is my question were you supposed to be taking this to get off of something else or were you just abusing this .Either way you really need to get into some type of recovery program aa/n.a counselor something. Sometimes the addictive habits are harder to let go of then the addiction its self.
