Thought I could handle drinking as long as I didn't use hard drugs...then I find out I have a problem with ephedrine too?

I quit using Crystal Meth about 5 years ago and was addicted to it for about 7 years. I have had relapses on Crystal Meth and many other drugs over the past few years. I have been taking ephdreine pills about 10 to 15 a day for the past 10 months and have used them in the past. I was unaware that they could become an addiction. I have also started drinking 3 times a months for the past 6 months and it seemed like I could handle my booze. I ended up in the hospital this weekend after mixing ephedrine and alchohal... The doctors told me my heart could have exploded. Anyways what I want to know is can the combination of alchohol and ephdrine make you act crazy? Crazy enough to try and Od on pills:?"

I already posted on this but I guess I deleted it, who knows. I too am addicted to crystal meth and thankfully I am in recovery now. Effederin is the main ingrediant in crystal meth and that's why I don't every mess with it it triggers my addict brain. I dont drink alcohol either because even though I never drank alcoholically I am just o e good buzz away from my DOC. Being aware of things that are addictive on any level is important because of cross addiction. I am even aware of how much caffeine I consume , being all jacked up on caffeine makes my addict brain think it's stimulant time which for me means crystal meth. I then have cravings for a few days and I really hate the craving and jonesing that comes with all that. Being mindful to stay away from all mood altering substances has really worked for me it is few and far between cravings these days. Keep posting , good luck

ephedrine is a stimulant....alcohol is opposite...a depressant in reality....counteract each other...so u drink MORE...and alcohol is a funny substance//socially accepted but gets peeps into way more trouble than meth or drugs sometimes...i have nevrer smoked pot and did sumpin stupid like alcohol can make us do//not if i took tabs either....add alcohol and inhibitions r gone...bye bye

a substance is a substance////it affects the receptors in the brain//and a substnace abuser abuses substances....so is any other substance other than our substance of choice safe??????????  as a rule   NOT
