cutting back on lortabs

I have really cut back I was taking 7-8 (7.5 lortabs) and now I am down to 2.5 a day all with in a few days! I still have a long road a head of me. all in all things are good except for sleeping my mind goes crazy at night just thinking about everything , things that don't even matter I know in time this will pass I can not wait till I am able to wake up and lortab not b the first thing I think about. There is more to life then that I am just happy to have this wake call ! My advice to everyone there are better days ahead, stay strong , and don't let all your hard work go to waste you have already come this far ! Pat yourself n the back for realizing you have a problem !!! That is the first step. Also remember I am praying for you along with myself we can do this !

my mind tells me I need more through out the day but its not as bad as it was I am keeping myself busy and trying not to think about it. The reason I am doing the tapering rather then just stopping cold turkey is because of the back and forth to the bathroom and the no energy . I have tried before to just stop and it wasn't as easy as this is in my option.

Hey! Congrats on your Taper. Very impressive work, my friend. If you're down to 2.5 per day, this might be the time to just bite that bullet, particularly if it's affecting your sleep, already. The sooner you take the plunge the faster you'll heal. Have you adjusted to the 2.5 or are you in a state of w/d's?
