Id like to thank everyone who helped and prayed for James and me tonight. He was stabbed at our front door He has 3 wounds. One of them punctured his lung and it collapsed but he is stable now and should be okay thanks to the paramedics who were there very quickly and got him stable. We dont know who it was but we know it was an old drug debt that eventually caught up with him. It was very frightening and i was very scared but id like to thank my friends who helped me get through it and kept me calm. We are now going to concentrate on his recovery and try to get back to normal as soon as possible and put this behind us. I thank you all for your prayers as they were definately answered. About the login problems,  try dumping your cache and cookies? (usually something like Tools >
Options > Browsing History (or Privacy)).

Sometimes routers get messed up so if you have one sometimes powering off and recycling it that way clears up the problem.

if none of htis works let me know and I will get you in contact with someone that will help.

I don't think anyone is mad at Kim BUT actions speak loader then words the i am sorry need to stop he has to start showing that thing with change and strike the three "i am sorry words" out of his vocabulary for now ... do get me wrong we all. lov and care of him we just want ot see change instead of hearing i am sorry. Thanks to all of you for your support and prayers. James is on the mend. His drain is coming out in the morning hopefully. Hes got the internet at his bedside so he will probably come on mh, although hes very worried about getting a lot of stick for putting us all at risk. The good thing that has come out of this is that he knows hes hit rock bottom. He never expected it to come to the door coz hardly anyone knows were our new house is. But thanks to a very good friend its sorted now and we wont be hearing from them. He has asked me to tell anyone i see that even use recreationally not to come near our house and that he wont be back to see them ever. He isnt judging them, he just cant take the chance. Maybe it sounds stupid but maybe this was meant to happen to make him see what can happen when you get so deep into drugs. Also, if it puts anyone off who is on here and thinks nothing will happen to you when you get into the drug scene too deeply, then think again as we never thought it would happen to us either. Im so tired, its actually an effort to type this so i probably wont be on for long, although i did have a good sleep last night for the first time in a while, but this has taken a lot out of me. James told me to stay in my bed tomorrow as he can see im so tired but i couldnt not go down to the hospital, i would probably just worry more. But iv got my mum pampering me, its great ! Thanks for the update Kim. I can tell that this is very hard on you. Please look out for yourself as well as for James. Relapsing is usually not something that we plan to do or not to do. Keep your guard up esp. during these times that things are jerking your emotions around. Post if you even find that your mind is even entertaining the thought of what using was like. Sometimes when all of our strength is being used for someone or something else we can be blindsided by our addiction. I don't want to see what happened to me, happen to you. Just a quick update. I was down at the hospital and when i saw James i burst into tears. He looks so ill he was not the same man i saw two days ago. He keeps telling me that he is sorry for the trouble that came to my door, i told him dont worry as long as you are  still here with me. thats what counts you are alive you are still here with me. what would i do without you James,yes you have a drug problem we dan sort that.If i had lost you what would i do if you were not here so i thank god that your life was spared and we can share more happy years. James you are not perfect but i do love you ...Kim

Hey Kim.. James when you read this you will be on the mend.. you will have contact with doctors in your stabbing recovery.. utilize them for when you come off the pain meds to make it as safe as possible.. they already were asked by kim about wd so I guess the cat is out of the bag.. I'm so grateful that you are still with us. Your wife is very Brave james.. but it could have come out different.. I had read where someone said maybe this is his rock bottom.. I pray for this for if it is not it will be under the ground..
There are many things you need to do different now james.. many. Heroin Cocaine are not the answer.. Kim I'm so sorry for the pain of seeing your husband in this way and the fear of the loss.. our prayers have been half answered lets keep praying that James will fully Heal.. love letakos

Just want to send my thoughts and prayers to you guys. What a horrible thing to happen, I can't believe someone could do that especially since there are kids in the house. I hope the person who did it is caught and punished right away. Please give James a big hug from all of us and I think the doc is right, he needs the pain meds now and he can worry about detox when he recovers. I can imagine how all this is taking a toll on you. Stay strong and you and James are in my prayers.

Thank you everyone, we really appreciate your kindness and support.
I am just back from the hospital and James is okay. He is very sore but he will be okay. He was very upset and sorry for what hppened but the one good thing is, it hs made him turn his back on drugs forever, He is on morphine for the pain sohe isnt to happy about that but the doctors said if he didnt have it hed be climbing the walls with pain. I have spoke to them about him detoxing but they said to worry about that later and he will have to wait till hislung is okay. He will be able to have access to the internet when he is physically able as they have it at his bedside, so as soon as he can, he will be back on mh. He asked me to thank you all for your prayers and he will speak to you all soon. Thanks again.....Kim

Im so sorry to hear what happened that must have been horrifying for you. I also want to sort of echo what corey says and lets try to look for a silver lining here...maybe this is really a blessing in disguise as terrible as that may sound. Maybe he will have a chance to fully detox now and maybe the hospital can talk him into going into rehab now once his physical wounds have healed enough? I realize he must be on some kind of opiate right now in the hospital for his pain but they should be able to help him wean down/taper off. At least I hope so. Please keep us posted and know you are both in many people's prayers.

I know he has been fighting so hard and has a whole different outlook on his recovery this time around. You are both very strong and very wonderful people. That is wonderful to hear.  My heart dropped when I found out what had happened.  James is such a fighter, he was one of the first people I met when I joined this board and I have always felt his happiness and pain in his posts.  He seems like a wonderful man.  I will keep praying for a quick recovery.

HI Kim im glad to here James is ok that was a close call....I just sent him a P/M  yesterday on the love of God and his everlasting grace thew Jesus I dont know if he had a chance to read it or not you guys have been on my nightly prayer list for a wile
