what was ur dose and time of use?  makes a difference so someone can even guess-ta-mate how long u will feel wd pains..and even then it is different for each of us..alot of it is attitude and the longing to be done with this bad dream called addiction
Getting rid on any pills on hand is crucial for most//as well as cutting off any supply for the future when u feel weak..for most some sort of support/aftercare is the way to go..most make it thru the physical part//tis the mental symptoms that linger for a while..depression, fatigue, anxiety, loss of motivation...in an intensity that can make u long to use again//and many go back to feel better//cos they did not hold the reasons they stopped in the first place close to their heart so that they could remember the pain addiction can bring....the brain has a way of making pain seem not so painful as it felt when we were actually feeling the pain

This forum is a great place to be right now as there is alot of support..but dont confuse it with the need for support in person///being accountable to someone in ur life...it is easy to not post here and no one will call u out on it unless u have been here for a while..if u have been here for a while these peeps will CALL u on ur absence..believe me!  LOL  But it is still important to have someone close to u..or a counselor or a group like AA or NA to be accountable too..it can often make or break ur efforts that r truly commendable..when i went to a meeting//or counseling//i felt a new strength that got me thru one more day//and there is a time during this recovery stuff where u just try to make it til bedtime without using..but this becomes days, then weeks, then months at a time...u dont wake up everyday thinking about using..but even then//we always have to watch our backs! This diease does not go away..it may go into remission but lingers in ur mind//for many anyway..just waiting for u to become weak so it can pounce on u again...support/aftercare keeps u strong enuf to fight this..cos no medicine can really cure u like other diseases...only u can make urself clean..and only u can keep urself clean..but addicts, altho some may think we r prime time losers, stick together and we can spot another like a fog light...but we support each other//we feel the pain of addiction as well//we r not bad peeps..we r just sick
The health pages r full of great info..and this forum is a great place for u to be right now...the thomas recipe is written to help folks with detox..and it is in the health pages...keep posting and know u r not alone

Taking ibuprofen 800mg every 4 hours max 3200mg/day for a few dsays really helps the rebound pain of withdrawal from opiates.Adding tylenol extrastrength 2 every 4 hrs,max 4000mg/day often helps.Percogesic is an otc pain reliever that contains acetaminophen and phenyltoloxamine an antihistamine that enhances the pain relief of tylenol. These do not contain opiates and often help rebound pain.
