suboxone withdrawal

to all

i am beginning day 4 of kicking a 20 month suboxone addiction.  I jumped off a 6mg (before reading some of these posts, i thought that was a small amount).  Ihave still been working, but in a lot of pain.  I am a bartender and have to fake being in a good mood.  It has literaaly been hell for me, and apparently has only just begun.  The worst is the leg pain and lethargy.  my fiance is giving birth to my 1st child on may 26, i was really hoping to be normal by then.  i recently bought multi-vitamins and fish oils, and am taking ativan throughout the day and night.  What else can i do to expediate this process???  if there is anyone who jumped off at a similair point after a similair amount of time PLEASE help me.  Going back to subs is not an option and my former D.O.C. is definitely not an option.  I would greatly appreciate any support and tips.  THanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried using DXM for the WD symptoms and it really helped. Buy the Robotuson Dry Cough Forte and have about 30ml every 3hrs great for anxiety and cramps.

I am 2 weeks off Subs and jumped off like you.  You can view my tracker and profile.  Today is actually day 13.  I feel 100 percent normal.  I have been sleeping fine since 3 nites ago.  Frankly, I found that many people, including myself have an extremely low threshold for pain.  Therefore, while reporting on our w/ drawal experience, we over-exagerate.  See if you can get a couple days off.  See if you can get more off, I would quit working if I had to in order to stay clean.  I stayed on that **** much longer than I should because of reading peoples negative posts over and over and over.  In hindsite, I would have never gotten on such a high dose for so long and would have "Manned Up" much sooner.  I made a top ten list that involves NO drugs you are welcome to try.  Congrats on your baby and congrats on becoming the Father the child deserves.  You are doing This!

I really wish you the best. I am still on sub but I have many friends who have successfully weaned off. 6mg is alot to jump from but each day will get better. From what I have heard, drink lots of water and excercise when you can (even if its just walking alittle). Also try to stay positive, you have alot in your life to look forward to. It is amazing what a positive mindset will do, maybe getting out into the sunshine some. Hope any of this helps. Best Wishes!

I'm still on Sub., but from what I hear .....you should be through the worst by the 26th.  The lack of energy and depression could last a few months though.  Be patient with yourself . Your doing the right thing.     Congrat's on the baby !
