it snowed!

i am not a big fan of snow, but the first one is always nice to look at....but not drive in!!! it reminded me once again the season is changing...i am changing...trying to do good every day i get up. even though a lot of the things around me die during the winter season, i believe it may be my spring season to bloom....and to hopefully control my health and manage my pain, without the pills!!!!

Vermont.... It was 0 degrees when I went to work at 7:00am this morning.  I think it got up to 20 or so today.  :)

oh my.....you moved here to Ohio from Arizona?? wow, LOL i bet that IS a huge shock, even after 10 years, lol.   I was born here and never left and even I get cold in the winters here when we hit about -5 below zero, lol. And let us not forget the windchills when they drop below - 15 .   Btw we went down to 7 today before it warmed back up. More snow coming tonight too now!

I am live just north of of the gemcity and have found a real good Dr, south of town near the mall, that does acupuncture and it has been helping. I have chronic back and leg pain due to a disk problem and discoved acupunture while on vacation last year. I went to a person that was up north near me but she didn't help. I talked to my Neuroligist and he recomended this Dr and I really like her. She is an ER Dr at the major hospital downtown as well. I stopped taking vicodin last Friday after 7 years of daily use, I am not as pain free as with vicodin, but better than I would be without the acupuncture treatments. You might give acupuncture some thought.

Ugh, it was like 20 degrees here today and yesterday with wind chill. It also snowed, although didn't stick. I'm not looking forward to going out in this weather, although the cold I don't mind, it's the wind that gets to me.

eggh i dont know r2r.....66 degrees!!! LUCKY!!! that is my element....I get cold once it reaches about 60 degrees and everyone makes fun of me for it out here. they think i am crazy because i was wearing earmuffs today!!! skiing is fun, and i wasn't too cold, but i had on layers...underneath a snowsuit!!!
people around here can not drive to begin with, so once you throw some snow into the mix it is a madhouse. first snow yesterday and already (only about 4 inches) people are wrecking because they don't slow down....or they don't know how to drive...sometimes its a mistake, but mostly just ignorance!

it is going to be a high of 58 here today in Georgia. we get snow very, very rarely, but it is pretty when it comes. but people loose there minds when driving in it. it kinda gives you vertigo if you are not used to it. bundle up and stay by the fire!! I love winter!!!

oh my god 9 degrees...My family would never make it..Like is said it is like 66 here, and we are freezing, I live in louisiana , we start cooking gumbo when the temp hits 60, and fireplaces go on....LOL
although my dream is to take all my kids on a sking vacation in colorado..Think we can survive?

well today we have a temp of 9. STUPID. i am originally from AZ and even though i have lived out here for almost ten years, i have not adjusted, nor will i ever. i hate winter, i hate driving in the snow and getting out of my warm bed in the morning!!!! i am just not in my element i guess. i was actually thinking about either moving out to OR, down south in eugene, or just down south to nashville, TN....have yet to decide....or make a move...!!!!

my wife and I keep saying we're gonna pack up and move south.  Haven't got around to it yet.  We had a potential heck of a deal on a house outside of Atlanta and I almost took my company's early retirement package and moved us down there..but, things were not going well for one of our daughters and we decided now was not the time to move :-(

It has been snowing here since November. Yes, the first one was so pretty. But yesterday, when I slid 20 feet down a side road, I was no longer impressed with the beauty of it all!! Enough already! It is going to be a high of 28 today..so that isn't helping either. My pain is so much worse in this weather and the thoughts drift to things I don't want to think about.

Let's keep plugging along and pray for the sun...LOL
