length of withdrawal?

i have been taking 4 to 6 norcos daily for 1 year. i took 5 monday. 1 tuesday am. the dithdrawals started last night. i started feelin tired and craving them, late last night my legs and arme were hurting. had the runs all night and this morning til 10 am. i took 2 7.5 s at 1030 today. how long should i feel bad. i need to b at work and i work outside with people. sales.. any help?

Good Luck. My first thought was to ask you if you have any sick days that you can take... and then I thought, the best thing to do is keep yourself busy.  Another important thing is to surround yourself with people and friends that do not share in your addiction... that way you won't be tempted... You may think you can say no and you may tell yourself that and maybe you can; but why go through the extra pain...   So, back to keeping busy... Stay as busy as you can... Well as busy as you can knowing you will feel like crap... the upside is you know you will feel like crap so you can plan around it... Sleeping as much as possible also helps make it through the withdrawls... I know they suck... but each day you make it through is a day further away from this you are!   Congrats on taking care of you! Good Luck!

well...i know how you feel, and I'm sorry u are going thru this...but be happy that it's not a 20 a pill day habit like I had! lol  I quit cold turkey and managed to do it thru work. It was really tuff, but I did it.  You will probalby feel bad for 3 or 4 days.  Maybe not that long.  Everyone is different.  I would drink lots of water, and eat right.  Get some immodium for the upset belly.  They say gatoraide helps, and vitamins. You can do this...your habit, isn't all that bad.  Not to say your problem is little...Im just saying there are people on here who have come off of much, much more.  You can do this.  Check out the health pages on the top of the page.
