what is ur dose each day?  it is true that there is no totally pain free way out of this...but u can build up ur defense against wd by reading and learning..u  can read thru the health pages and the thomas recipe..u can talk to ur dr about some safe meds to use during wd to help make it easier..u can make a plan/including aftercare is often the most successful plan/and stick to it...u cant really make wd pain free...but u can sure make it as easy as possible by being educated and ready for what u will have to contend with...keep us posted

I do agree with the prior posts.  You will go thru some pain and it will be the worst thing you have ever had to go thru.  We will all be here for you when you are ready to do it.  I remember when I was using I used to think that I had to take meds just to get out of the bed and get going. But you know what, once I was off the pills I still got up and guess what else, the pain really was not that bad. Nonthing that otc meds could not handle. I swear I think the pain meds made my back and legs hurt worse. Or maybe I just convienced my self that otc meds did not work and this was the only thing for me.  I promise once you get off the pain pills you will really be able to see what your pain is and it might not be as bad as you think.  Please keep posting your are in the right place. We have all been where you are and where you have been. I promise you will get better and you will be ok. Please keep posting and let us know how you are doing

Oh, I so agree with Lee...we alll go thru the pain...I really think most of it is just in our heads...not real...The wds play so many tricks on us...thats the pills calling our names...wanting us back...If you can make it thru the wds....you can make it....After going thru the wds...(my 1st and only time) I KNOW that I dont want to go there again...I think going thru the wds taught me a lesson....and I will remember it forever...

there is nothing magic! You just have to suffer through the withdrawals! We all hurt during that time, its just what you have to do. There really is no need to go th doctor. Handle your back pain with OTC meds and accept it as what it is. I hate w/ds, everyone of us did, but thats the only way. Just REMEMBER the pain of the w/ds and let that be the driver that keeps you from going back! Good luck : )
