You made steering easy Brent. You kept an open mind about what was said to you. Congrats on those clean days!!!!!!!!! sara
Deal. This reward of being able to say I have been clean for 9 days is more rewarding and makes me feel better than any drug could right now. Thanks again for steering me back in the right direction.
how about we just keep making good desicions from here on out? deal?
A lot of good points that never even crossed my mind. Thank you all for your words of wisdom to help make the right decision.
to b clean means to be clean not only from ur DOC but from all mind altering substances, id stay away from the pot.. good luck to ya and congrats on the clean time
Attaboy!!!! Now you're getting it. Glad to hear you are gonna rethink your plans. Our addictions are sneaky. I used to trade one for the other until I was finally doing all at the same time. I suggest taking a look at why you wanted to smoke in the first place. Do you do any kind of aftercare? NA, AA, counseling??? I go to AA mtgs. What I learned in there has really helped me understand why I do what I do and has shown me a better way of living. You are young and have a great chance to have a wonderful life. God Bless!!!!
Pot is a mood altering chemical and when we get clean we have to stay away from all of that. There are many thoughts on weed but it still has to be considered harmful to an addict. sara
Of course. I guess I never even looked at pot as something that is or would ever be a problem though. Maybe I should relook this with a different mindset eh?
I'm nearly 6 months clean from barbiturates.
I'm having pain from oral surgery.
Is there any reason why I shouldn't take 4 Vicodin right now? Or smoke some pot?
Yes! The reason I shouldn't is because I'm clean and sober now. I take Motrin. I eat ice cream. I like being in my own head. Try it!
