OK, now I have a bit more information.  You have to want to stop taking the drugs for the high - I know it's hard because I liked the high.  Start taking the Suboxone when you start having cravings for the other drugs, start having withdrawals symptoms like sweats, diarrhea, yawning, sneezing, nausea, leg pain, shakes.  The suboxone will make you feel fine.  You won't have cravings, nor will you have any withdrawal symptoms.  It is an opiate so it does help pain too.  Be sure to dissolve it under your tongue, don't swallow it or you may not get the full benefit of the med.  Some people have nausea and headaches from the suboxone, and those usually go away after the first few doses.  You should take the smallest dose possible to keep withdrawals away.  It take a little time to figure out what dose is best.  I took it for about 6 weeks total, now off for 10 day.  Feel free to send me a private email and we can chat in more detail.   You can do this, but you have to want to be clean and sober.

What do you want to know concerning the hydros becoming available in a few days?  Do you still want to use and the Suboxone is your crutch between fixes?  If that is the case, do not take any hydro until 36 hours after your last sub dose as it will block any high you are wanting from the hydrocodone.

Hey there.  When you say, "just took my last hydrocodone" What time was that?  I would wait until tomorrow morning if you just took it recently.  Don't worry about withdrawals, the Suboxone will take care of that.  I was dope sick from Methadone, 3 days, when I took my first sub and felt like nothing was ever wrong.  No shaking, yawning, runny nose, aches, vomitting, the runs- it was all gone and I felt like a "normal" person for the first time in years.
As I alluded to above, if you can make it through the night and wait until the morning that would be the best.  If you can't sleep, I would wait at least 12 hours (absolute minimum) to take the Suboxone.
Like I said, the Sub will take the w/d's away.
If you have any more questions, keep posting and I will answer to the best of my experience.

yea, prescribed from dr with instructions for detox.  was taking 15-20 10's a day.  i think i'm more afraid of my mental state of mind--making myself function--tommorrow morning is going to be hell.  so do you think the sub will help, i mean, should i take one this evening?  and wonder if hydro comes available tomorrow after taking sub?  desparately seeking the europhic feeling, although they are getting few and far between.  does oxycodone help; was it prescribed?  don't mean to ramble, appreciate your reply.

Welcome to the forum.  Did the doc who gave you the Suboxone give you any instructions??  Generally you need to wait until you are in mild to moderate withdrawals and then take the dose as instructed by your doctor....... the dose depends on how much hydrocodone you were taking.  I was using 30 Norco 10mg per day at my highest, tapered down to around 10 before starting the Suboxone plus I'd been using Oxycodone for a couple of weeks too.  I started with 4mg.
