sick&tired

Does anyone know if sever sweating is part of the withdrawl from hydrocodone? I have been on 3,000 mgs a day for 2.5 years.Out of the blue my Dr. said she needed to get me off so instead of giving me 100 pills at a time she only gave me 45 at a time.I was still taking the same dosage as I always have so of course the meds didn't last untill she would call in more.By the way I was prescibed hydrocodone for a disease that is extremely pain and causes gangrene.I finally bitched enough that she sent me to pain management. He immediatly took me of the hydrocodone and started me on avinza(morphine) the very next day I woke up  with a headache I've had since I've been really bitchy to anyone who even dares to look at me and I'm bawling all the time but my worst problem has been this horrible sweating.
Does anyone know if this is from withdrawl and just how long do I have to suffer like this.
I don't mean to sound whiny but I'm so sick of being sick...

Any help at alI would be appricated

Three thousand mgs a day????? You would be dead. I think you mis-calculated my dear.

Yes..sweating is a common withdrawal symptom. BOTS had a good suggestion..clonidine.

Good Luck.

By the way, youre body should adjust to the dose soon. When you are stable enough, you will notice less sweating and less irritability.

you might be on too high a dose of morphine. That could cause sweating and a headache. Morphine is alot stronger than hydro. I dont think you could possibly be withdrawling if youre taking morphine. Its also an opiate like hydrocodone, so you wouldnt withdrawl.

yeah the sweating is definately from the hydrocodone, i get it worst at night, and during the day just getting mad about something would make me break a sweat, i almost cried one time but i did something else to get my mind off it, all those symptoms are common theyll be gone in bout 3-4 days i think
