It's good u are seeing your doctor.

Be completely honest with them, it will really help you. I got honest w my doc; at first I was embarrassed but then I said f' It!!! They put me on the meds in the first place, they should've realized the consequences ...  My doc was actually "glad" I shared my "situation" with her and since, with NA, I'm 43 days clean ;))

Be honest with your doc and u will be ok

I should definietely get from a doctor a very strong sedative and, personally would comibine it with Ibuprofen and Paracetemol.

Give yourself a couple of days and you'll see the difference.

Better to tell a doctor what your plan is .... ok it with them.

Welcome to the forum!!  There are a lot of tramadol "warriors" that post back and forth on a link I'll post below here for you.  They have tons of experience, strength and hope to share.  They are already on Part 55 of their journal posts to each other, so lots and lots to read there.
Many drs mis-communicate to patients that tramadol is NON-addictive.
WRONG.....they obviously haven't ever taken it and tried to quit. Ha!
You're asking good questions and ready to start.......that's GREAT!

Hi Cathy! I used to take Tramadol and Norcos, and I can tell you that you should NOT try to come of the trams cold turkey! I dont know how much your taking, but the trams have an anti-deprssant in them as well so you can risk having a seizure if your taking alot of them and come off to fast. Not to mention the w/d's s uck!!

My best advice is talk to your Dr. about coming off the trams ie: a slow taper.

Hi and welcome. How much r u taking and r they prescribed by a doc?

Tram is not good to cold turkey, you may need to taper off depending on the amount you use. If you are getting the with a doc, please share this with them and work on a plan.

You've come to the right place for support.

Hi kathy welcome.
I'm new here. There are a lot of people here with way more knowledge than me.
My mind is not right yet. I just wanted to stop and welcome you.
You have taken the first step.
Look at bottom of the page, there you will find a link to the Thomas recipe.
Read it, helped alot of people. I'm doing it now.
Good luck.  Other's will be along soon.
