I am only taking a multivitamin and eating bananas. But, as of right now it is officially three day (72 hours) and I slept well last night and feel fine right now. I really was expecting something horrible and that is why it took me so long to quit. I believe that God has blessed me, that's the only explanation.
I agree with toxictome. Definetely an exception to the rule..........Unless you're not telling us of a miracle cure!
Yes, you must be the exception to the rule...LOL
Lucky you...and i hope it stays that way..... :)
Thanks for the info! I am still feeling fine and going about my business without the pills. I consider this a blessing from God and will do everything in my power to stay away from narcotics! I hate being a slave to the drug...
Consider your self lucky...codeine is one of the weaker narcotics....the first time I quit taking hydrocodone, I did not experience any physical WDs..This time I did...do not push your luck and stay away from them
Yes, count yourself lucky. Occasionally someone will say they went several days and then had some w/ds, but that is uncommon.
Hi.that great, withdrawls are the last thing you want to experience.Withdrawl are symtoms that people that severely abuse get.In your case you seem to be taking only a minor amount of a re-latively weak drug,tylenol#3 if used as you stated should not cause you a problem. So if you have no legitamate reason to continue taking these pills, then stop as you as yet are not physically addicted. all the best john
wow...that is a tough one...i am not familure with codeine withdrawl however it sounds like either you have a high tolerance for pain and the withdrawls are so mild they are unnoticeable to you??? Just throwing out theories...or maybe you have tapered so successfully that you are simply not going to feel any withdrawls? I am really happy for you!! Most people do not get off the hook so easily.....i'd say it's a good time to count your blessings
When I quit taking vicodin, I had light flu symptoms the first couple days. It could be you had reduced your dosage so low that your body didn’t have much w/d. That’s great, keep posting and talking to the group, especially if you have any problems or questions. It sounds like you did a good job on your own quitting and could be an inspiration to others as well.
