suboxone and ten panel drug screens

I have been on suboxone for 7 months I have found in my profession that companies look down on people on this med. I didn't ask to be an addict I was hospitalized for a month and put on phentinol at 5mg every 4 hours and 150mg of Demerol every 8 hrs for the entire time of the stay then was released without support in fact I was giving a double dose 3 hours prior to be released from the hospital. Anyway that night I went into withdrawal. To make a long story short I found suboxone which has been a god send. I have no illusions of every getting of this drug but even though I am using legally it has cost me a job.  Anyway at my new job they conduct random 10 panel tests that test for methadone.  Will sub show up on standard 10 panel tests?  Also the only comprehensive test I have found that test for sub is a twelve panel test is this true or do they have a ten panel test that tests for suboxone? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.  I am trying to figure out if I have to get off the med. emidiatly or if I can taper

THanks for the info, It doesnt show up on a 5 panel that includes testing for opiates, it has to be specially tested for and on the 10 panel they test for methadone and am worried that sub and methadone my show up the same on a test.  I hope not since there is a special test for sub list as BUP on the strips which as I siad is on the twelve panel my main question is does the BUP test panel ever included on a 10 panel test if not i'm good to go if so I am screwed

Well honey, you have to taper, unless you want to have withdrawls.  I don' know about the tests, but I do know the Sub has to have a slow taper, or you will be hurtin bad!!!  I just started the sub and my Doctor and I've already touched on the taper.  Be safe, and Good luck!  Sorry about the circumstances you've been put in!
