I am out of surgery and it was a miracle my pain is gone except surgical pain.I am down from morphine on a clicks to 15mg then 7.5.they are going to release me today or Tommie.2weeks of pain pills and then stop.thank you all so much.to you newbies you can beat your saw my fears them my victory over fear.

i have 2 pills left.one to go to sleep and one for tomm.didnt go to pain doc on friday i knew he would given me more.i am treating my self harshly but i rather be in pain for a few days then to take pills for ever.surgery went well .just wish i could do yoga but doc says nothing but walking for 6 weeks.

Butch, LULU, I pray your surgery a great success Lulu. I know the next few days are going to drag by. Butch don't sweat the pain meds, take them when you need them. As you know once it gets out of control its hard to get easy again. I had back surgery a month ago and I took mine. I didn't have to take as many as the dr. thought. I didn't en finish the bottle. Asprin got to where it worked just as well. God Bless you both

Yay Butch!!!

What a great post.  I am stoked for you my friend.  Six days and counting until I go under the knife.  I've been on the opiates since late April though and my pain is STILL out of control.  I'm hoping that my surgery is a successful as yours because I honestly can't wait to be ME again.  The 5 days a week yoga not putting any pills in my body other than vitamins ME.

Take good care of yourself and stay close...

Leaving hospital In 2 hours .I believe 2 weeks of drugs won't hurt me .lot of pain should. Be a little. Better every day.they r giving me morphine 15mg every 4 hours is that drug tough to come off
