Tramadol for withdrawals

I know a lot of people have written on here about the dangers of using tramadol.  I just want to know if they are helpful in getting through norco withdrawals.  I understand that its not the best way to go, but if its between taking one of them and getting another prescription for norco, can the tramadols get you through the rough spots?  I dont think I will abuse them becuase I only have a few.  I just want some relief because I was taking so many norcos.  Thank you for the info.

Yeah in addition to typical opioid type withdrawal, there also appears to be more of an impact emotionally:

"Tramadol is more complex than other opiate and opiate-like medications because it also appears to have actions on the GABAergic, noradrenergic, and serotonergic systems in the brain. This may cause some people feel additional withdrawal symptoms or intensified psychological withdrawal symptoms when discontinuing tramadol."

I understand what you mean, and honestly even though it isn't the #1 political answer for everyone, in my opinion since you only have a few and if it is between getting your full script of norco or just taking a very low dose of tramadol, I would personally would not get the norco filled.

best of luck with however you do this.

They may help lessen the withdrawals a little but as soon as you run out of trammys it will still hit you. I hate trammys I do not recommend anyone take them for any reason just my opinion they really screwed me up bad, way worse than just hydro’s.  I do not want to see anyone take this evil pill. Please consider another option.

Tramadol is not the way to go .If you have a doctor I would ask about colondine. It will help a lot  with WD and there is not any risk of addiction.
