Funny that you all mention this, as I to have a old bottle of Norcos from a wisdom tooth extraction, & I took one about a month ago & got sick & never took em again! Penelope
If you only took the topamax one time it should be out of your system by now. good job flushing the Norcos those are a pain in the #$% to get off of. i think it is something in the air because everyone i see is just mopey and tired. I hope for the best for you hun.

I also took some prescribed after a procedure recently and the hydros made me feel awful...not good at all...i flushed the rest after 4 days last night....in a way i am kind of glad i dont like the way they make me feel anymore...if u dont feel better in a few days, get it checked by your doctor...but the hydros made me kind of down, clammy and anxious...no increase in energy like they used to do....i would think the topramax would be out of your system by now tho
hydorcodone...loratab and norcos and such
taking the pills the 5 days i did did not set me back...maybe because they were for actual pain.
like vicodin, hydrocoden...
OK dumb question
I live in the Southern hemisphere - different names for prescription drugs. What are hydros?

Me too. I used to love them and crave them like nothing else. I had a pretty serious addiction going. But I managed to get off of them for a little over a month. I did the whole amino acid routine, vitamins, etc. I think I had my body headed back to normal, so I think by starting again my body reacted negatively. I used to take 10-15 10/325 mg Norcos per day just to feel normal. I told the pain Dr. about my addiction and he prescribed 5/325 Norcos with no refills. Now, at this much lower level, I feel awful. I am just hoping I haven't caused any negative reversal on the gains I had made. I fought myself hard about whether to take them or not, and with this experience I am definitely done with them. In a way I'm glad I had to go throught this minor set-back. Now I don't even crave them. Now I associate them with this just plain plain yucky feeling. Now that they are gone I hope I have finally put this awful drug in my rear view mirror for good. I will live with the pain and deal with OTC stuff when necessary. I told myself this a week or two ago as well, but I caved after going to the pain Dr. as my last resort. So I lost a week, but hopefully gained my life again. Through this I realize just how much better I am without them. Anyone going through the first few days or weeks of w/d and reading this take my word. You don't need them. Life is so much better without. I have allowed them to take so much from me, but never again. If ican do this, so can anyone.
yes, i think it is normal...i had surgery and i had to take them for a few days and i hated it...i think some of it was the fear of the addiction...BTW i am glad you dont like them any more
When I first started taking hydro it made me sleepy and nauseous.
