maybe it is time

I want to thank all of you for having me here.  After reading a lot of the posts, I feel like I know you all.   Today I had the avalanche feelings of guilt myself.  That maybe I haven't been there for my boy, the money I've spent, the time I've wasted.  It's hard.    Today I had an appointment with a pain specialist that usually refills my prescription for Lortab.  They called me to say that it had been cancelled because the state Pharmacy Board had caught on to my "doctor shopping".   I think after 2 years, maybe it is time.  This is day 1 for me..  Can you guys here please continue to listen to me?

Yes! yes! yes! I am going through the worst nausea i have ever had in my life, the only good thing is that the other symptoms have gotten better, the nausea is crippling. Don't feel guilty, please don't. We have all lied to our partners, children (when my two year old hands me a 'mummy pill' you know you have a problem.) stay on this site, I am holding on for life. I know it will get better. It can be done. Now, I did have h1N1 i may have nausea from that, but I doubt it. No more denial! how many did you take a day? how do you feel?

of course we will listen to u ..and help when we can..course u r the one that has to do the work..but the support of this forum can be salvation for many..if u post, and post, and post...not only ur concerns but post on others concerns/questions..it helps..it is like u live what u know u need to or what u managed to get away from..it helps keep the seed alive in ur brain..but aftercare of another sort such as counseling or meetings is also a need for many
It does sound like u got a wake up call...we all do in some sorta way...for me it was my dwindling 401k...i was going down and down and down...there was no way the money could support my growing tolerence..there is just no good ending to continuing to use..nuttin but a deep dark hole that gets deeper and deeper

Glad u got ur wake up call before sumpin really awful happened..it doesnt sound like u r in trouble with the law?  thank ur stars u r not in jail or going thru court proceedings...keep posting cos we r always here

No, I never got into trouble with the law.  But as my options were getting more limited, the more desperate I was becoming.  It was only a matter of time.   I was making plans to travel to other states, Mexico, Costa Rica.   It was definitely only a matter of time until I was in big trouble.
Anyway, starting day 2 now.  Starting kinda early too, 4am.  No real physical affects other than waking up early,  Defiitely feeling better than yesterday.
Happy Thanksgiving to all.
