The only advice he said is that tram. is addictive and i need to meet with my family dr. and I should not quit ct, but i got a appointment in the morning,so we will see what he has to say
Since you can't get an appointment until tomorrow, did he at least give you some guidance on how to start off and get from now until you see him?
This is new to me about the Tramadol. I was on it many, many years ago for fibromyalgia. No one ever mentioned it could be addictive.
You must have a real sense of relief knowing that you'll go through this somewhat medically supervised. That's great news.
Good! The doctor will help you tomorrow. So,today ,just relax and try not to worry.
We cannot offer taper plans here. It's a violation of forum guidelines. Just take what you need to get through today comfortably and good luck at your appt.

Your doctor will be able to give you a taper plan. That is the safest way to get off these.....sara
I went to urgent care and he told me that it was wd what i was going through and he said that i needed to meet with my family dr. and I just started yesterday was my first day but i made a appt. for tommrow and i am going to go see him and hopefully he will help me tapper off.
hi, caleja...
i think we're not allowed to give taper plans but if i were you i 'd do as you've been advised and call your family doctor . From what i've read here you are doing the best, that is tappering the tramadol doses...it will take some time but better being safe and doing things in the best possible way ...
and of course, we will be here supporting you, eh :)
What doctor did you go to? Was it the doctor that prescribed the Tramadol? Why didn't he give you advice on how to taper?
You need to find out from a doctor how to taper, if that's the way you're going to go. How many days has it been since you had any Tramadol. If you're nearing the end of detoxing, maybe you should just get some meds to help you with the withdrawals.
Call the other doctor now and get the information you need. Best of luck.
