You don't say what you were shooting but you need to seek help immediately.  If you shot a particle of something that was too big (crushed up pill, etc.)  it could be blocking blood flow and you could lose your hand.  I had a patient that had crushed up a xanax and shot it and he ended up losing his hand due to this.

Its too localized to be allergic. It does sound like it missed the vessel. That leaves it up to what was in the solution?  - - - If you need antibiotic therapy you will need to do something about it before its too late. If you try and wait it out you may do too little too late to avoid the loss of a limb. Better for you to be safe (what a laugh!)  than sorry.....If you dont go to the Docs right away, then keep it under observation and keep watch over it...........good luck with everything.....

might be a good idea to see a doctor and put ice on it...if it is infected heat would make it worse..i would get some antibiotic ointment but would be good to get some from ur docotrr to take/antibiotics,,,i do know there are some thigs ur veins will accept and some things it will not..dont know about those drugs and quitting would be a great idea at this point before u do lose ur arm or sumpin worse..

I don't think she is asking how to use these drugs, she is asking if what she did resulted in an allergic reaction. Maybe if we welcomed this person a little more warmly, we could have helped her or tried to make her see she needs to stop what she is doing.

Poster - sounds like maybe it was an allergic reaction. Intravenous drug use is very dangerous, as is any and all drug use, you def need help. If I or anyone here can help you, please please feel free to ask. I don't know how long you have been doing this, but we can help you if you want the help.

Feel free to private message me if you need help.
