Alcoholic-friendly cold medicine?

Hi, all.  I'm in recovery with 2 years at the end of this month.  I've got a pretty horrible sinus infection right now, but I'm sort of afraid to take anything for it - even over the counter stuff.  I know I can get alcohol-free medicine pretty easily, but I tend to get destroyed by even small doses of anything, even allergy medicine.  I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on something I could take that won't...affect reality?

halls breezers are good things to suck on (no methonol) to keep your throat and mouth moist.

I hope they took the pseudoephedrine outta Alka Seltzer Cold plus for i am allergic to it and had a horrible reaction 2 it in 1990..didn't sleep for 5 days!Cranked up./out on the pseudo!i take a CVS brand of cough/cold formula when necessary..the pseudo is out and its alcohol free!Non-Drowsy Daytime multi-symptom cold/flu relief...and they have a nitetime formula as well!
