Someone who drinks alcohol evey day,all day and has been hospitalized for low sodium,and now has got in her foot now,could this be another step in being an alcoholic???

Yes, my dad was an alcoholic and got gout alot of times.

I think it's a typo and she meant gout.Which often goes hand in hand with alcoholism.So I'd say this person has low sodium and gout.
